For four years, the SCRIPTS Talking Wall – a kinetic multimedia installation at the Humboldt Forum – staged a multifaceted public conversation on the promises and vulnerabilities of liberal democracies. What holds, what breaks, and how can these dynamics be told? Spanning 25 metres of wall space and featuring over 80 video statements, the installation makes a knowledge production characterized by its multidisciplinary angle and regional perspectives, visible, audible, and tangible.

As we bid farewell to this dynamic space of thinking and knowledge within the exhibition After Nature, we invite you to join us for the final research tour – a finissage to go. Together, we will also look behind the scenes: How is such a wall created? Why this format? What doubts, curatorial decisions, and aesthetic choices have shaped the “Talking Wall”? What do contributors have to say?
