SCRIPTS speaker and professor of political science at Freie Universität Berlin Tanja A. Börzel, presented her paper "Liberal Nationalism, Regionalism and Their Contestations" at the conference Community and Governance beyond the Nation-State. An International Conference on the Legacy of Ernst B. Haas" organized at the European University Institute (May 24-26). In her paper, Börzel draws from Haas' work on liberal nationalism and focuses on the uniqueness of European integration.
