Dr. Denys Kiryukhin

Alumni, Special Fellow within the SCRIPTS programme "Scholars at Risk"

Dr. Denys Kiryukhin is Special Fellow at the Cluster of Excellence "Contestations of the Liberal Script" (SCRIPTS) and the Centre for East European and International Studies (ZOIS). In addition, he affiliates to H.Skovoroda Institute of Philosophy (The National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine). He graduated from Kiev National Taras Shevchenko University (diploma with distinction) and got a PhD (kandidat nauk) in Philosophy from the H.Skovoroda Institute of Philosophy. In 2013 and 2015 Kiryukhin was a visiting research professor at The Catholic University of America (Washington, DC) and currently he is a member of the Board of Directors of the Council for Research in Values and Philosophy (The Catholic University of America). Kiryukhin is the author more than 100 scientific publications. His research interests focus on the social and political development of post-communist states, a theory of justice, and political philosophy.
