Lea Wisken took up a position at KCW GmbH in May 2018. KCW is a leading strategy and management consultancy with a focus on public transport. Lea’s decision to join KCW was driven by a desire to improve the cycling and pedestrian infrastructure in German cities. Like her research, her projects tend to be located at the intersection of law and politics.

Lea completed her PhD at the BTS and the WZB Berlin Social Science Center in 2018. In her thesis, she analysed collisions between the rules of overlapping international institutions. She was a visiting research student at the University of Oxford and has tutored for Lady Margaret Hall.

Prior to her PhD, Lea has worked as a consultant for McKinsey & Company. She holds a Master of Arts in International Relations and Economics from the University of St Andrews.
