Link Collection

The compatibility of work and family life is a central concern of SCRIPTS. Furthermore, our purpose is to support all people involved in the Cluster regarding subjects of mental health and gender and diversity. The mentioned topics constitute a main requirement in order to be able to conduct fruitful research projects. Subsequently, we summarized theme-specific individual counseling services, informational offers, learning opportunities as well as institutional information and infrastructural advice in a list below.

  • In addition, we offer multiple information in our Welcome-Brochure regarding items to have into consideration before arrival: Visa, Health Insurance, Accommodation. Download the Welcome To Scripts Info Brochure - A Practical Guide to Life in Berlin (2021) (accessible for members with FU Login details)
  • As part of our commitment with diversity we issued a statement named "The SCRIPTS’ Spirit of Diversity", whereby we aim at implementing non‐discrimination and the compatibility of work and family life, a welcoming environment and collegiality as a coherent set of normative practices for vital and sustainable diversity. Costs of Service

We believe it is important to be aware that while many advisory and support offers are free of charge, there may be services that require an economic contribution. Not all links have information about costs.

Feedback

We offer this service so that newcomers feel welcome and get to know first-hand the support system in Berlin and Germany. It’s aimed at signalizing sensitivity towards several topics that belong to one’s own identity and the needs connected to it. Also, since we are fortunate to have a very DIVERSE constellation of fellow researchers at SCRIPTS, we are very open to feedback, comments and alterations to this list. If you want to add important links or have any questions about this list, please do not hesitate to contact Dr. Anke Draude (Head of Quality Management & Diversity).
