The third and final episode of the podcast series Long Live the Diaspora! turns to global politics. The episode explores major international issues such as the war in Ukraine and global financial governance, highlighting how African diasporas engage with these debates from postcolonial perspectives.

Listeners gain insight into how members of African diasporas interpret global power dynamics and reflect on possible avenues for political action. As in the previous episodes, personal voices are combined with academic context to deepen understanding of diaspora perspectives on international affairs.

The three-part podcast series was conceived and produced by Susan Bergner, doctoral researcher at the SCRIPTS Excellence Cluster at Freie Universität Berlin.
