Christoph Möllers, Principal Investigator at SCRIPTS and professor of public law at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin is part of the trial, which has the party financing of the NPD at its core. Möllers, an attorney of record for the Bundestag, Bundesrat, and Bundesregierung, said the absence of any members of the NPD in Karlsruhe shows that they had also given up the "last shred of civic community".
