How are artificial intelligence and digital technologies transforming liberal societies? And how can we imagine possible futures between utopia and dystopia?

As part of the series “Four for the Future,” the three science fiction authors Theresa Hannig, Jens Lubbadeh, and Nils Westerboer will discuss the results of an experimental scenario workshop together with the SCRIPTS Principal Investigator Genia Kostka. The focus is on possible developments over the next ten years—imagined through literature and analysed from a scientific perspective.

The conversation brings together science fiction, social science, and audience dialogue, inviting participants to reflect on the opportunities, risks, and ways of shaping AI in liberal societies.

The event is a cooperation between the bookstore Otherland and SCRIPTS as part of the SCRIPTS Forum.
