The SCRIPTS team is looking for a committed student assistant (m/f/d),The SCRIPTS team is looking for a committed student assistant (m/f/d) with an interest in academic communication, organisational tasks, and statistical analysis, to assist in the areas of publication coordination and research management, starting on 1 June 2026.  

Key tasks:

• Support researchers involved in the Cluster of Excellence with the publication of academic papers, particularly as part of the SCRIPTS Working Paper Series. Proofread and edit academic texts in English. 
• Support with creating and analysing statistical overviews (e.g. publication and project data)

Profile:

• Study of the social sciences, data science or a similar field. 
• Interest in academic publishing and research coordination.
• A structured, methodical and independent approach to work.
• Very good German and English skills (C1)
• Experience of, or interest in, working with reference management software (e.g. EndNote), and conducting literature searches.
• Experience using statistical software (e.g. R, Stata or SPSS) and/or data management.
• good knowledge of Office (good knowledge of MS Excel tools for data analysis is an advantage)
