We just concluded a very productive workshop on “Contestations of Liberal Scripts” at SCRIPTS.

SCRIPTS PIs and PhD researchers were joined by colleagues from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (HUJI), the University of British Columbia, and the University of Potsdam for two days of intense and engaging discussions on pressing global challenges — from shifting liberal orders at the international and regional level, to security, climate governance, and social inclusion.

It was an enriching exchange of perspectives and research, reflecting the value of open, critical dialogue across institutions and disciplines. We look forward to continuing this collaboration — and hopefully to a return visit to Jerusalem next year.

At a time when academic exchange and mutual understanding are more important than ever, such encounters remind us why dialogue matters.
