23-24 May, scholars from across the world gathered at Hertie School to discuss and exchange their insights in the field of comparative studies of digital repression.
The workshop was hosted by SCRIPTS Principal Investigators Anita Gohdes, Genia Kostka and Alexander Libman, and covered topics like AI-driven propaganda, digital rights, social media effects, surveillance, and censorship - including studies on Turkey, Russia, Africa, and China.
