In the fifth episode of our series #facesofscripts you will get to know Tara Devi Rai. She is an incoming PhD candidate at the Berlin Graduate School for Global and Transregional Studies. Having completed her Bachelor’s in Sociology, she continued her studies at the Pondicherry University, where she obtained a Master’s degree in South Asian Studies. Tara’s research concerns regionalism and regional integration. She will undertake a comparative study based on IR theory and seek to examine what the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation can learn from EU to accelerate regional integration in South Asia, and promote economic growth, peace and stability in the region.
