On 26 September 2025, SCRIPTS, in cooperation with the Institute for East European Studies (FU Berlin), will host a workshop on the transformation of Russia’s right-wing in the context of the war against Ukraine.

The event brings together scholars such as Katharina Bluhm, Andrei Yakovlev, Mikhail Suslov, Alicja Curanovic, and others to examine how the war has reshaped right-wing discourses, policies, and ideological alignments. Topics include Russia’s wartime socioeconomic model, nationalist intellectuals, propaganda and information channels, demographic policies, and the convergence of state and nationalist-patriot agendas.
