Senior Researcher, Research Project "Impact Hub: Integrated Efficacy of Integrated Action for Peace”

Tannas Michel is a Senior Researcher in the research and transfer project “Impact Hub: Integrated Effectiveness of Integrated Action for Peace” within the Cluster of Excellence “Contestation of the Liberal Script” (SCRIPTS) at Freie Universität Berlin. She also works as a conflict advisor for Pro Peace in the “Municipal Conflict Advisory” project and is active as a mediator. Previously, she was seconded to the Department for Crisis Prevention, Stabilization, Peacebuilding and Humanitarian Assistance at the German Federal Foreign Office. Before joining SCRIPTS, she worked at the Center for Applied Turkey Studies (CATS), the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (SWP), the German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ), and at the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Her research focuses on foreign and security policy, hybrid threats, conflict dynamics, and democratic resilience
