The contestation of European integration has become a key feature of European Union politics. But how does this play out in legislative politics at the EU level? To explore how and to what extent Euroscepticism and Eurosceptic actors shape legislative behaviour in the European institutions, and in particular in the European Parliament, SCRIPTS hosted a workshop on 10th of February, which covered a broad range of topics and brought together scholars from all over Europe and beyond. The workshop was organized by Dr. Lukas Obholzer and Dr. Philipp Broniecki, both postdoctoral fellows affiliated with the SCRIPTS project "A 'Common Sense Revolution'? Eurosceptic Contestations in the European Parliament", which is led by SCRIPTS co-director Prof. Dr. Tanja A. Börzel and Prof. Dr. Miriam Hartlapp from the Department of Political Science at Freie Universität. We thank all participants for exciting discussions about the future of Europe!
