Cluster Professor Yasemin Soysal and research consortium obtain major funding from Berlin University Alliance for research project on health, migration & gender

As part of an interdisciplinary research consortium, Prof. Dr. Yasemin Soysal, who holds the Cluster Professorship in Global Sociology, obtained funding in the amount of 1.3 million by the Berlin University Alliance (BUA). The title of the project is "Exploring gender-specific determinants and contexts of migrant health from an integrated Global Health perspective". The project is one of four projects that have been awarded funding by the BUA through their "Grand Challenge Initiative Global Health" (press release in German here). It will run from 01 Feb 2022 to 31 Jan 2025. The research consortium consists of researchers from Freie Universität Berlin/WZB Social Science Center, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin.
