Linette Lim Joins the 2026 SCRIPTS Forum as Visiting Researcher

We are pleased to welcome Dr. Linette Lim from University College Dublin as a Visiting Researcher at the SCRIPTS Forum. She will be based in Berlin from 15 July to 15 September 2026.

News from Aug 04, 2026

During her stay, Linette will conduct research on AI-driven communication, transnational information strategies, and diaspora politics. Her project contributes to the 2026 SCRIPTS Forum, “Emergent Digital (Dis-)Orders: AI Governance between Liberal and Authoritarian Scripts.”

Led by SCRIPTS Principal Investigators Anita Gohdes and Genia Kostka, the Forum explores how artificial intelligence and digital technologies are reshaping political order in liberal and authoritarian contexts. Through lectures, workshops, policy simulations, collaborative research projects, and public outreach activities, it brings together scholars, students, policymakers, and practitioners to examine the political, social, and ethical implications of AI governance.

In a short video, Linette introduces herself and provides an insight into her current research.

We warmly welcome Linette to SCRIPTS and look forward to the exchange and collaboration during her stay.
