DESCRIPTION:   This online workshop will bring together a group of twenty I
 nternational Relations (IR) scholars who share a common interest in researc
 h on the international dimension of contemporary populism.       During two
  days\, participants will offer critical insights on the implications of th
 e rise of populist leaders in global politics. Organized in four roundtable
 s\, participants will discuss the best approaches to study the effects of p
 opulism on foreign policy and diplomacy\, international cooperation and reg
 ional integration\, international security and human rights\, and internati
 onal economy and trade.       The workshop aims to contribute to the growin
 g debate\, both within and outside the SCRIPTS Cluster\, about the potentia
 l impact of populist phenomena on the international order established after
  World War II and consolidated in the post-Cold War era.
