Hans-Jürgen Puhle is a Professor Emeritus for Political Science focusing on the comparative analysis of liberal democracy systems and theory of democracy. Puhle is planning to continue a project with the title “Populism and Democracy in the 21st century” during his stay in Berlin. The project fits into a number of research questions of SCRIPTS, particularly with respect to the RU Orders, RU Borders, and RU (Re-)Allocation. As particular contributions to the work of the Cluster, Puhle is planning to
conceptualize and present a paper and participate in various Cluster debates.
