Topic of PhD Thesis: From Partner to Rival: A Comparative Study on Foreign Policy Change towards Authoritarian States
Henrik von Homeyer is Liaison Officer at the Cluster of Excellence SCRIPTS and the Berlin University Alliance (BUA), seconded to the Policy Planning Staff of the German Federal Foreign Office to coordinate knowledge exchange between academic research and diplomatic practice. From 2022 to 2025, he served as a foreign and security policy advisor to the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the German Bundestag. Earlier positions include an advisory role at the Federal Ministry of Health during the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as posts at the Institut für Europäische Politik and the German Marshall Fund of the United States in Berlin. He holds an M.Res. in Eastern European Studies from University College London and a B.A. in European Studies from Maastricht University.
