Internationalization
The global scope of SCRIPTS’ research agenda makes internationalization to our imperatives. We strive to be an environment where excellent research meets international exchange and plurality of perspectives. This happens on the one hand through collaborative actions with the aim to advance comparative and (trans-)regionally grounded inquiry. On the other hand, we want to welcome and engage with scholars from regions and communities underrepresented in global academia, paving the way for long-term collaboration beyond established academic centers.
Our Measures
Internationalization at SCRIPTS connects research, mobility, and institutional partnership across projects and career stages. It supports formats that bring international scholars into the Cluster, enable SCRIPTS researchers to work across institutional and regional contexts, and create spaces for sustained collaboration through workshops, fellowships, and joint research initiatives.
By linking project-based funding, visiting positions, and regional activities, internationalization facilitates long-term cooperation, strengthens existing partnerships, and supports new constellations of collaborative research. Its activities are closely aligned with the Cluster’s research goals and contribute to building durable academic networks beyond individual projects and funding cycles.
